Dam safety and hydrological studies
CONTINENTAL has expertise in the hydrology and hydraulics of surface water and groundwater resources. Surface water assessments offered include water resources system simulation, flood estimation and river hydraulic modelling. Groundwater hydraulic modelling is also available.
Geotechnical services
CONTINENTAL through its subsidiaries offers a complete geological investigation service including engineering geological mapping, geophysical studies and sub-surface investigations. We also have the capabilities to offer onsite and laboratory testing of foundation materials and exploration testing of construction materials.
Survey and mapping services
Our surveyors are specialists in the water industry and can cater for all our clients' water-related survey and mapping needs. Our numerous services in this area include floodplain mapping, dam and weir site mapping, pipeline surveys and land acquisition surveys among many others. Engineering of irrigation systems
CONTINENTAL has designed and implemented some water supply schemes, which provide water to irrigation schemes and customers. We have experience in conceptual planning, final design and construction management covering all aspects of water supply infrastructure including channels, irrigation, surface and sub-surface and drainage systems, access road works, and other associated structures.
